Well here I am.. the first blog entry.. this one on good old Canadian soil. Here goes...

The COUNTDOWN Continues... 

Ten more days of snow, winter and Canada before we head off to Australia. Adam and I are frantically working at getting all our school stuff done while still managing to prep for Christmas, pack and clean the house up. 

It is truly hard to believe that in just 10 short days we will be heading off on a year long adventure. This last month has been a whirlwind of planning and visiting. We are sad to leave all the amazing people in our lives but we are very excited for the year ahead and for some Christmas cheer with our families before we board that plane on Boxing Day. 

With our Visas finally here, we are feeling a lot less pressure. As one of our clever friends pointed out... you have a visa, a plane ticket and a credit card, you are set to go! Here is to a great 10 days of winter before we hit the heat!!
